Change 1's Life is a charity that is making a difference. We help street children across Sub-Saharan Africa by working with local authorities, orphanages and our own shelters to support children. Our aim is to educate street children, giving them a safe environment to live, play and grow.
A world where poverty doesn’t have a meaning.
1. Help people have a better quaity of life.
We all have a basic human right to have access to shelter, food, clean water and adequate clothing.
2. Equal rights for men and women.
We believe women are still widely misrepresented and repeatedly oppressed. We will help poor women claim their rights and campaign to reduce violence against women.
3. Save lives
We will ensure we are there to support and save lives of people in need due to poverty, natural disaster's or catastrophe's by providing the necessities food, shelter, clean water and sanitation.
4. Ensure all children have access to education.
Where possible we will ensure we provide children with scholarly materials and sponsorship to ensure all children can learn to read and write.
We have ambitous plans for the future, because we believe one day no one will have to suffer the consequences of poverty.
Our team is extremely passionate about our goals, we hope to lead the example and would like to see the same values and aims in people we work with, such as our volunteers and our donors.
We strongly believe that we can make a huge impact in people’s lives and we believe everyone involved with Change 1's Life should know and feel they can make a difference.
We hold ourselves accountable for utilising our resources efficiently, achieving results and being accountable to our supporters, partners and most importantly our beneficiaries.
We believe in creativity, embrace new ideas and take measured risks to maintain sustainability.

• 40% of Africa's population live on under £1 a day.
• Every minute a child dies of malaria in Africa.
• Every 15 seconds a child dies of hunger.
Our vision is to:
• Feed the hungry
• Educate the poor
• House the homeless
• Comfort the downcast
We contribute to the reduction of poverty and provide a better quality of life by providing food, clean water, clothes and medical aid to the less privileged. In addition, we provide lifesaving education; enabling families to prevent serious diseases such as Malaria and HIV/AIDS. Malaria and HIV/AIDS are among the main causes of death in Africa and poor sanitation plays an big role in the spread of these diseases. For that reason, we run programs to teach people on how to prevent diseases and bring their attention on the importance of cleanliness.
